Cox’s Bazar beach witnessed an overwhelming crowd of tourists on Friday, as visitors from across the country flocked to the world’s longest natural sea beach to spend quality time with family and friends during the weekly holiday.
From early morning, thousands of tourists packed the Kolatoli, Laboni, Sugandha, and Inani beach areas.
While some tourists enjoyed sea bathing, others relaxed on the sandy shores, soaking in the natural beauty.
Many tourists were seen capturing memories through photography, horseback riding, and beach biking.
According to the Cox’s Bazar Hotel-Motel Owners’ Association, hotel bookings were nearly complete due to the holiday rush.
Local authorities and the Tourist Police were also on high alert to ensure the safety and comfort of visitors.
Local traders reported brisk business, with seafood restaurants, handicraft stalls, and souvenir shops experiencing strong sales.
Tourist Police officials confirmed that special patrols and surveillance were in place to maintain security and assist tourists throughout the day.
