Despite intense heat and scorching sunshine, tourists continue to pour into Cox’s Bazar, exploring its scenic attractions from morning to evening.
A significant number of tourists have been seen along Marine Drive Road, enjoying the long and picturesque coastal route in private cars, microbuses, and motorcycles. Many are also traveling as far as Teknaf Zero Point to experience the country’s southern edge.
Other popular destinations, such as Himchari National Park, Dariyanagar, and Ruposhi Goalia Mini Bandarban, are also experiencing a notable influx of tourists. From the hilltops, visitors enjoy panoramic views of lush green landscapes on one side and the vast blue sea on the other.
Juen Hasan, a tourist, said that, despite the extreme heat, the beauty of nature was too compelling to resist. “We could not ignore the chance to experience such stunning scenery up close,” he said.
Locals noted that although temperatures have risen sharply, tourist arrivals at Cox’s Bazar’s attractions have not declined. Instead, crowds tend to increase further during holidays.
