A two-day acting workshop, organized by the District Shilpakala Academy, Cox’s Bazar, concluded today (November 1).
The workshop was conducted by Professor Dr. Israfil Shahin, a faculty member of the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Dhaka. The inaugural session was chaired by District Cultural Officer Syed Ayaz Mabud.
Distinguished guests at the opening ceremony included Swapan Bhattacharjee, Head of the Theatre Studies Department at Cox’s Bazar City College; Ashraful Huda Siddiq Jamshed, President of Jhinuk Natyakendra; and Sourav Dev, General Secretary of Udichi, Cox’s Bazar.
The workshop, titled “Eastern and Western Acting Techniques,” brought together 44 participants from various cultural organizations across Cox’s Bazar. Imran Hossain and Sanaul Haque, instructors at the District Shilpakala Academy, coordinated it.
At the closing ceremony, participants received certificates of completion.
