Each Friday, the bustling pigeon market beside the municipal office on Cox’s Bazar’s main road becomes a vibrant attraction. Traders from remote areas of the district gather here, showcasing various pigeon breeds. Drawn by the thriving business, vendors travel from Dhaka and Chattogram to participate in this unique market.

The market is a lively fusion of local sellers and vendors from beyond the district. It offers an impressive variety of nearly 30 native and exotic pigeon breeds, keeping buyers returning each week. With over 50 vendors and hundreds of eager buyers, the market transforms into a gathering place of pigeons and people, flourishing every Friday from noon until evening.
