Local tailors in village markets are under heavy pressure as Eid-ul-Fitr approaches. Many are no longer taking new orders due to the workload. Master Shabuddin Hossain said orders for fabric tailoring began from the 5th of Ramadan, and the demand has now become overwhelming. This year, orders for local three-piece suits, pants, panjabis, and jubbas are high. Tailors are also busy making frocks and two-piece outfits for children across union-level markets.
