With the threat of storms no longer looming, all maritime ports in Bangladesh have lowered their warning signals, clearing the way for fishing boats and trawlers to head back into the deep sea.

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department issued the update on Thursday (September 4), confirming that there is no risk of squally weather over maritime ports, the north Bay of Bengal, or coastal areas of the country.

Authorities instructed the ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla, and Payra to withdraw their warning signals.
