Yamaha Bangladesh has handed over 30 Yamaha FZS Version 4.0 motorcycles to motorcycle rental businesses in Cox’s Bazar to make it easier for tourists to travel around the city and nearby attractions.
The initiative was launched under the theme “Driving Tourism, Mobility in Cox’s Bazar”, aiming to expand personal transport options for tourists and enhance their travel experience in the tourism city.
The motorcycles were handed over to rental business owners at a recent programme at Hotel Sea Gull in Cox’s Bazar.
Senior officials of ACI Motors and Yamaha, along with the proprietor of Mahin Motors, the authorised Yamaha dealer in Cox’s Bazar, attended the programme.
The motorcycles handed over are Yamaha FZS Version 4.0 models, equipped with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and traction control system (TCS).
According to the company, the motorcycles also feature fuel-injection (FI) technology, which helps improve fuel efficiency.
Every motorcycle comes with two certified helmets, one each for the rider and pillion.
The initiative will allow tourists to rent motorcycles and travel to different attractions around Cox’s Bazar while having access to safety equipment, according to the organisers.
