A four-day training workshop on Village Courts concluded yesterday in Cox’s Bazar. Organized under the Village Court Activation Project of the Local Government Division, the workshop was held at the BIAM Foundation Regional Center’s auditorium, with the initiative of the District Administration.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Salahuddin addressed the closing ceremony as the chief guest. In his remarks, he emphasized the vital role of village courts in delivering justice swiftly and affordably at the grassroots level.
Rubaiya Afroze, Deputy Director of the Local Government Division, presided over the event. Administrative officers from all union parishads across the district participated in the training, which concluded with distributing certificates among the trainees.
