Due to the government-imposed fishing ban in the Bay of Bengal, fishermen are now turning to nearby coastal channels to catch fish. At Barsara Beach, local fisherman Anis (48) is busy fishing in one of these channels. He mentioned that selling fish caught from the channels still brings them a decent income. In this way, the fishermen manage their livelihoods during the restriction period.
