Along the hilly paths of Darya Nagar in Cox’s Bazar, the white blossoms of the Kamini flower paint a delicate, natural tapestry. Often hailed as the queen among fragrant flowers, Kamini captivatingly charms those who wander through these hills.
The sweet scent of Kamini drifts far into the surroundings, even from a distance. The flowers bloom at night, releasing an enchanting aroma into the air under the night sky and gentle breezes.
The Hasnahena plant grows as a dense shrub, and its flowers typically remain fresh and fragrant for about five to six days after blooming.
Also known as the Kamini, its scientific name is Murraya Paniculata. This plant is famous for emitting an intense fragrance at night while its flowers tend to wilt during the day. It is also known to attract bats and various insects, playing a subtle role in the nocturnal ecosystem.
Hasnahena typically blooms from late spring through the summer months, adding a touch of magical beauty to the natural landscape of Cox’s Bazar.
