The 34 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) battalion organized a day-long free medical camp at the Ghundhum Union Parishad premises in Cox’s Bazar’s Ukhiya border region, offering vital healthcare services to underprivileged residents.

The initiative provided free medical consultations and essential medicines to more than 300 patients, many of whom have limited access to regular healthcare.

Lieutenant Colonel SM Khairul Alam, Commanding Officer of the 34 BGB Battalion, officially inaugurated the camp. The humanitarian effort is part of BGB’s ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable communities in border areas through public welfare initiatives.
