In Bangladesh, leftover rice straw, locally known by various names such as khorkuta, is widely used as cattle feed, especially after the rice harvesting season. Farmers in different regions preserve these straw remnants to ensure food for their livestock for the upcoming seasons. These photos were taken along the Marine Drive Road in Teknaf.
