Yesterday was International Red Crescent Day, and a series of events were held at the Cox’s Bazar Government Women’s College to mark the occasion. The college’s Red Crescent Unit organized an awareness drama on natural disasters, followed by a discussion session on the college premises.
Professor Md. Ohidul Islam, the college’s Vice Principal, attended the event as the chief guest and delivered his remarks.
Mamun Uddin Jewel, Director of the Red Crescent Unit, presided over the program. Department heads, faculty members, and students from various college disciplines were in attendance.
