During the fishing season ban, a different scene unfolds along the Teknaf coast of Cox’s Bazar. Locals, like fisherman Unus, are busy catching shrimp fry with a “zhaki” net on the beach. Despite the scorching sun, the waves of the sea, and the constant rise and fall of tides, Unus and his fellow fishermen continue their struggle for livelihood. Photos were taken from Teknaf.
