The government today approved a proposal in principle for installing a Cable Car from Himchori to Reju Khal on Marine Drive Road in Cox’s Bazar district, to be implemented under the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) method.
The approval was given at the 16th meeting of the Advisers Council Committee on Economic Affairs, held at the Bangladesh Secretariat today, with Finance Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed in the chair.
The Cox’s Bazar Development Authority (CoxDA), under the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, presented the proposal in the meeting.
