In the heart of Bangladesh’s only hilly island—Moheshkhali, famously known as the Digital Island—lies a hidden wonder: the lush, green landscapes of Dhuilyajhiri Hill Slope in Mithachhari village, Shaplapur Union.

This enchanting area, where winding rural roads snake through towering hills blanketed in verdant green, offers a view so serene and surreal that it feels like nature has laid out an emerald carpet.

The harmony between the rolling hills and meandering paths creates a stunning backdrop, captivating anyone who ventures into this quiet corner of Maheshkhali.

Despite its jaw-dropping beauty, the remote location of Shaplapur’s Dhuilyajhiri means it remains largely undiscovered by travelers beyond the local region.

Yet, to locals, this picturesque junction of hills and roadways has become a beloved spot for scenic adventures and peaceful getaways.

Located about 17 kilometers northwest of Moheshkhali Sadar, the area can be accessed via a short 10-minute drive south from the Chakaria-Badarkhali Moheshkhali Bridge, leading to Mithachhari Bazar in Shaplapur.

The path reveals a breathtaking sight of green-covered hill slopes that await discovery by nature lovers and adventure seekers.

With proper promotion and accessibility improvements, this captivating destination could soon find its place on the map of Bangladesh’s emerging eco-tourism spots.
