Bangladesh Railway has revised the schedules of two trains operating on the Chattogram–Cox’s Bazar–Chattogram route to improve service punctuality and better accommodate passenger demand.

The changes will take effect from August 10, according to an official order signed by Mohammad Abu Bakkar Siddique, Assistant Chief Operating Officer (East Zone), Bangladesh Railway.

Under the new schedule, the Cox’s Bazar-bound “Saikat Express” (Train No. 821) will depart from Chattogram station at 5:50 AM, instead of the current 6:15 AM — 25 minutes earlier than before.

Meanwhile, the Chattogram-bound “Probal Express” (Train No. 822) will leave Cox’s Bazar station at 10:00 AM, instead of the current 10:20 AM — departing 20 minutes earlier.

Bangladesh Railway stated that the adjustment aims to ensure more efficient train operations and enhance the travel experience for passengers on this popular tourist route.
