Cox’s Bazar beach has regained its familiar vibrance. On Friday and Saturday, visits to three points of the beach revealed thousands of tourists crossing the dunes to bathe in the sea. Following days of rain, the weather in Cox’s Bazar has now turned bright and sunny.
Most tourists stayed in knee-deep water, following the safety instructions of lifeguards. The dunes were crowded as visitors posed for photos, enjoyed horse rides, and cruised along the shore on beach bikes. Many others relaxed under colorful umbrellas, soaking in the scenic beauty of the sea.
According to on-duty lifeguards, Saturday brought sunshine throughout the day, with no rainfall. The weekend holiday, combined with the pleasant weather, drew a large number of visitors. In the morning, an estimated 80,000 tourists took to the waters at the Laboni, Sugandha, and Kolatoli points. By evening, both locals and tourists gathered along the shore to witness the sunset.
