A workshop was held in Cox’s Bazar to evaluate and explore partnerships for the “One-Stop Service for Tourists” initiative, which won the District Innovation Challenge 2023.

The event took place yesterday at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, jointly organized by the district administration and Aspire to Innovate (a2i) under the ICT Division.

Naila Ahmed, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, attended as the chief guest, while Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Salahuddin presided over the session. Discussions focused on Bhramonika, a mobile application developed by the district administration to enhance tourism services in Cox’s Bazar.

The app offers features such as auto-generated travel plans based on tourists’ preferences, time, and budget; permits and passes for visiting Saint Martin’s Island; and information on hotels, resorts, and major attractions—making travel more convenient and visitor-friendly.
