From early morning, overcast skies and continuous rain turned the sea at Cox’s Bazar even more turbulent, with crashing waves adding to the coastal city’s beauty. Despite the rough weather, thousands of tourists thronged the beach.
Soaking in the rain, visitors delighted in the roaring waves — some taking photos right by the surging tide, while a few even braved the waters despite the risks. “Cox’s Bazar feels completely different in the rain — it’s one of life’s most memorable experiences,” many tourists shared.
Meanwhile, tourist police and lifeguards remained on high alert due to the rough currents.
Red flags were hoisted at several points along the beach, and authorities continued regular announcements over loudspeakers, urging tourists to stay cautious for their safety.
