Tourists visiting the world’s longest sea beach in Cox’s Bazar are now finding a new spot to unwind—small roadside tea stalls near Kakra Beach along the Marine Drive. From morning till evening, these makeshift cafés stay busy serving cups of hot tea and light snacks to visitors eager to soak in the seaside charm.
With the sound of crashing waves and the gentle sea breeze, a sip of tea here adds a simple yet delightful joy to the travel experience.
Local vendors say hundreds of tourists stop by every day to enjoy tea, coconut water, puffed rice mixes, and fried snacks while taking a break from exploring the beach. The growing crowd has also opened up new income opportunities for locals.
Visitors from different parts of the country describe the experience as uniquely relaxing—watching the sea while holding a steaming cup of tea. Locals hope the tea stalls will become even more vibrant during the peak tourist season, boosting both tourism and the local economy.
