Chef Alauddin Hossain, a professional cook from Narayanganj, has arrived in Cox’s Bazar for a three-day winter getaway. With nearly 16 years of experience in the culinary profession, he not only understands the essence of diverse Bangladeshi dishes but also has his cooking in high demand during the winter picnic season in Cox’s Bazar.

Standing at Shaibal Field, he shared that visiting Cox’s Bazar during winter has become a yearly routine for him. Various institutions, families and groups of friends invite him to join their picnic outings, where he prepares flavorful biryani, khichuri, and a range of traditional meat and fish dishes.

“Cooking is not just my profession, it’s my passion,” Alauddin said. “While preparing meals for picnickers, I also enjoy the beauty of Cox’s Bazar. It feels like work and leisure blend into one.”

The natural charm of Shaibal Field, the sea breeze, and the vibrant crowd of tourists have made his winter trip even more delightful.
