Bangladesh claimed another win in the five-match U-19 Women’s T20 series in Cox’s Bazar, defeating Pakistan by seven wickets in the third match on Monday.
Led by Sadia Islam, the Bangladesh U-19 women’s team easily reached the target of 87 runs in 13.3 overs, finishing at 87 for 3.
Earlier, Pakistan elected to bat first after winning the toss. Under the leadership of Iman Naser, they posted 86 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs at the Academy Ground of the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium.
With this win, Bangladesh now leads the series 2–1, after the first two matches on December 3 and 5 ended in a 1–1 tie.
The same venue will host the remaining two matches of the series on December 10 and 12. The U-19 women’s team from Pakistan will conclude their Bangladesh tour on December 13.
