Cox’s Bazar observed International Anti-Corruption Day 2025 with due significance. This year’s theme—“Youth Unite Against Corruption: Building a Future of Integrity”—was highlighted at the inaugural ceremony held at 9:00am on 9 December at Shaheed Daulat Maidan.
Superintendent of Police ANM Sajedur Rahman attended the event as the chief guest. In his remarks, he emphasized that young people must take the lead in promoting ethical values and establishing good governance to eradicate corruption effectively. He also stressed the need for transparency and accountability at every level of society.
The program saw notable participation from representatives of government and non-government organizations, educational institutions, volunteer groups, and members of the general public. Speeches, an anti-corruption pledge, and awareness campaigns featuring banners and posters made the observance vibrant and engaging.
