The Great Victory Day 2025 is being observed across the country with due honour and solemnity through a range of national programmes. 

Adding colour and grandeur to the celebrations, a spectacular flypast organized by the Bangladesh Air Force has further elevated the spirit of victory.

As part of this programme, a visually striking aerial display was held over the Cox’s Bazar sea beach at around 12:00 noon on Tuesday (December 16). 

The roar of fighter jets slicing through the blue sky instantly drew the attention of spectators. Tourists, residents, and children gathered along the beach to watch the breathtaking display in awe.

The flypast featured two modern F-7 BGI jets from the Bangladesh Air Force flying in formation. 

The nearly 20-minute aerial demonstration showcased the Air Force’s professionalism, precision, and combat readiness. Executed with remarkable skill, the formation flight added a new dimension of pride and glory to the spirit of Victory Day.

Upholding its motto, “We shall keep the skies of Bengal free,” the Bangladesh Air Force remains ever committed to safeguarding the country’s airspace. 

Through this flypast, the Air Force demonstrated its military capability and reaffirmed its unwavering resolve to protect national independence and sovereignty.

This proud flight over the skies of Cox’s Bazar during the month of victory served as a powerful reminder of the nation’s history, sacrifice, and the enduring spirit of independence. 

The Bangladesh Air Force’s initiative added a unique and memorable chapter to the Victory Day celebrations—one that is sure to remain etched in the minds of spectators for a long time to come.
