The 11th edition of the Prime Bank National School Cricket Tournament concluded in Cox’s Bazar, organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board with support from the Cox’s Bazar district administration and district sports association.
Pekua Shilkhali High School emerged as champions, while Chakaria Grammar School finished as runners-up.
The closing ceremony and prize distribution were held on Friday at Bir Sreshtho Ruhul Amin Stadium. District Sports Officer and member of the district sports association Md Alauddin presided over the event. Manager of Prime Bank Cox’s Bazar Sadar branch, Ramiz Ahmed, attended as the chief guest.
Special guests included Chattogram divisional coach Nazim Uddin, former vice-president of the district sports association Abchar Uddin, and Professor Jasim Uddin.
A total of eight schools from across Cox’s Bazar district participated in this year’s tournament.
Prizes were distributed among the players of both the champion and runner-up teams at the end of the event.
