The arrival of the monsoon has transformed the landscape of Cox’s Bazar, dressing the coastal district in vibrant shades of green.
Tourists from across the country and abroad are flocking to the famed Marine Drive to experience the beauty of rain-soaked hills, jhau forests, cloud-covered skies, and the roaring Bay of Bengal.
Among the most popular attractions is Kangra Beach, where large crowds of visitors have been gathering since morning.
Since Sunday morning, drifting clouds, cool sea breezes, and the sound of crashing waves have combined to create a captivating atmosphere along the beach.
The tranquil monsoon setting has attracted families, groups of friends, and couples eager to enjoy the area’s natural beauty.
Many visitors said Cox’s Bazar takes on a distinctly different character during the rainy season.
The combination of lush green hills on one side and the vast expanse of the sea on the other makes Kakra Beach along the Marine Drive one of the most appealing destinations for nature lovers.
Rahul, a tourist from Dhaka, said the beauty of Cox’s Bazar during the monsoon was truly remarkable.
“It feels as though nature has adorned itself anew. The peaceful surroundings and stunning scenery at Kangra Beach have left us deeply impressed,” he said.
Residents said the flow of tourists to the beach has remained steady despite the rainy season.
Tourist numbers are particularly high during the morning and late afternoon, when many come to enjoy the area’s scenic beauty and refreshing atmosphere.
With its soothing natural setting, the sound of the sea and the enchanting backdrop of clouds and rain, Kakra Beach on Cox’s Bazar Marine Drive has become a living canvas of nature, continuing to captivate tourists with its monsoon splendour.
