Stay Guide Cox’s Bazar – Today’s Featured Stay: Chander Bari
Located beside Cox’s Bazar Marine Drive in Mangalapara, Pechar Dwip, Chander Bari Beach Resort offers cottage-style accommodation for those seeking a quieter stay away from the crowds of Cox’s Bazar town.
The resort began its journey on Saint Martin’s Island in 2021 before opening its Pechar Dwip location in January 2026. According to resort authorities, the name ‘Chander Bari’ was inspired by moonlight reflecting on the sea on a full-moon night.
Surrounded by greenery and located close to the sea, the resort currently has six cottages across four categories. Two Signature Premium Triangle Cottages have private swimming pools, while two more cottages of the same category are available without private pools. The resort also has one Premium Couple Cottage at the Garden Level and another at the Sky Level.
Private swimming pools are available only to guests staying in the two pool cottages.
Regular cottage rates range from Tk 11,000 to Tk 18,000, depending on the category. The resort is currently offering discounts of up to 40 per cent.
Under the current offer, a Signature Premium Triangle Cottage with a private swimming pool costs Tk 10,800, while the same category without a pool costs Tk 9,000. The Garden Level Premium Couple Cottage is available for Tk 6,600 and the Sky Level cottage for Tk 7,800.
The resort’s cottage-based accommodation suits couples and small groups seeking a more private stay close to nature. Its location beside Marine Drive also provides access to the coastal landscape of Pechar Dwip while keeping guests away from the busier areas of the town.
After establishing its presence on Saint Martin’s Island, the resort expanded to Cox’s Bazar to offer guests a quieter holiday experience centred around the sea, greenery and cottage accommodation.
Chander Bari Beach Resort is located in Mangalapara, Pechar Dwip, beside Cox’s Bazar Marine Drive. For reservations and further information, guests can contact the resort at 01792-226058.
