Despite the favorable weather at Cox’s Bazar beach, red flags have been hoisted at Kolatoli, Sugandha, and Laboni points due to unsafe water conditions.
Sea Safe Lifeguard In-Charge, Sifat Ullah Sifat, said that while today’s weather at the beach is beautiful, red flags have been hoisted like previous days because the water conditions are not safe.
“Bathing in the sea is restricted to below knee-depth, and lifeguards are stationed at three points. Tourists are allowed to bathe only within the areas marked by the lifeguard flags,” he added.
According to the lifeguards, today’s high tide will occur at 5:44 PM, and the low tide at 11:00 AM.
