The Meteorological Department has advised Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla, and Payra seaports to hoist the local cautionary signal number three. Due to the adverse weather, fishing boats and trawlers from the deep sea have started docking along the coast. Assistant Meteorologist Abdul Hannan of the Cox’s Bazar Meteorological Department has instructed all fishing boats and trawlers in the Bay of Bengal to stay close to the shore and navigate with caution until further notice.
