The Meteorological Office lifted all local cautionary signals from all maritime ports, including Cox’s Bazar. The weather in Cox’s Bazar is normal, and the sun has been shining over the city since morning.

However, the beach is unsuitable for swimming due to holes and canals. Due to unsafe water conditions, red flags have been hoisted at Kolatali, Sugandha, and Laboni points.

In charge of Sea Safe Lifeguard, Sifat Ullah Sifat, said that lifeguards are stationed at three points.

“Bathing in the sea is restricted to below knee-deep. We are making awareness through hand mic. Tourists are allowed to bathe only within the areas marked by the lifeguard flags,” he added.
