The second phase of modernizing healthcare services at a specialized hospital in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar, has officially begun. Yesterday, the Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh, Iwama Kiminori, inaugurated the new phase of work.
During the event, Ambassador Kiminori emphasized Japan’s continued support in ensuring quality healthcare for both Rohingya refugees and the local population.
Former National Parliament Whip Shahjahan Chowdhury, the Additional Commissioner of the Refugee Relief and Repatriation Office, the Upazila Executive Officer, and officials from the Upazila Health and Family Planning Department, among others, attended the inauguration.
