The skies over the beach town of Cox’s Bazar have been clear since early morning, with glimpses of sunshine brightening the day. Tourists have flocked to the beach, enjoying the pleasant weather for a seaside bath. Despite warnings of tidal surges two to three feet higher than usual along the coastline, islands, and chars of Cox’s Bazar, the morning revealed a sunny and calm sea with no signs of strong winds.

According to the most recent reports, Cyclone ‘Dana’ has landed in the Indian state of Odisha, 565 kilometers southwest of Cox’s Bazar port.
