Enroute International Limited, an implementing partner for the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Improving Skills and Economic Opportunities for Cox’s Bazar (ISEC) Project, hosted an orientation in Cox’s Bazar for 50 local volunteers dedicated to enhancing the tourism sector.

Funded by Global Affairs Canada, the ISEC Project aims to build an inclusive tourism industry in Cox’s Bazar, fostering prosperity and job creation for local women, men, youth, and people with disabilities.

Enroute’s initiatives focus on enriching tourism destinations and promoting self- and wage employment through innovative, market-driven solutions.

With gender-responsive community tourism as a core component, the project seeks to empower local enterprises, youth, women, and girls while driving positive change through targeted policy interventions.

Deputy Team Leader Mr. Intijamul Islam led the session, discussing the project’s objectives and development approach, while Project Coordinator Maksudul Haque detailed volunteer roles and responsibilities.

As a distinguished guest, the event featured Mushtafiqur Raihan, ISEC Project Consultant at ILO.
