Coconut trees adorned with delicate blossoms resembling rice flowers are a captivating sight. These blooms are visible from when they first emerge until they start forming young coconuts. As a coastal district, coconut trees are abundant in Cox’s Bazar, and the trees adorned with coconut blossoms are also common.

Pollination in coconut flowers occurs mainly through insects, especially bees, or with the help of the wind. Taller coconut varieties typically rely on pollen from other trees; they are not self-pollinating. As the coconuts form, the flowers gradually lose color, fading to a pale hue.
