The Champions Trophy has embarked on its global tour and will soon arrive in Bangladesh as part of this journey. The trophy will be displayed from December 10 to 13, with events planned at Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium and the world’s longest sea beach, Cox’s Bazar.
News of the trophy’s exhibition in Cox’s Bazar has ignited excitement among cricket enthusiasts, adding to the event’s anticipation.
Pakistan is hosting this year’s Champions Trophy. However, uncertainties remain regarding the tournament, as India is reluctant to play its matches in Pakistan, sparking ongoing disputes between the two nations.
The last international cricket trophy to visit Bangladesh was the ICC ODI World Cup trophy, brought to the country ahead of the 2023 tournament. It was showcased at Padma Bridge for a special photo session and made accessible to fans at Bashundhara City Shopping Complex.
