The Asian Koel or kokil, a member of the cuckoo family, is known for its sweet and melodious call. Scientifically named Eudynamys scolopaceus, this bird is widely found across the Indian subcontinent, China, and Southeast Asia. Often referred to as the “bird of spring,” the koel captivates everyone with its enchanting song during spring.
