On a serene morning in Agrahayan, the gentle warmth of the golden sun casts a radiant glow upon the vibrant bougainvillea. Known as a tropical climbing shrub, bougainvillea or Bagan Bilas thrives with its sprawling vines and vivid foliage. Its small, symmetrical blossoms nestle gracefully amidst clusters of three leaf-like bracts, often mistaken for the flowers themselves. These bracts, resembling brightly colored papers, encircle the delicate blooms, creating a stunning visual spectacle.  In Cox’s Bazar and across Bangladesh, bougainvillea has become a favourite among garden enthusiasts for its decorative charm.
