The sea sustains the livelihoods of countless people in Cox’s Bazar. Among them are street vendors whose lives revolve around the bustling shores of the world’s longest sea beach.
Despite their evident contributions, the stories of their joys, struggles, and aspirations receive little attention.
These vendors, often overlooked by society, dream of a brighter future just like everyone else. However, their everyday existence narrates tales of unwavering determination as they silently confront the challenges of earning a livelihood.
Young street vendors sell toys at the Sugandha Point of Cox’s Bazar beach, showing their modest livelihoods. Reports suggest these vendors earn between Tk500 and Tk1,000 daily, depending on the season and crowd.
Despite the challenges, their determination to sustain their families and dreams remains unwavering.
