With annual school exams over, families are flocking to the world’s longest sandy beach, causing a surge in hotel bookings and tourism-related businesses.
Business owners anticipate transactions worth hundreds of crores of taka this season, with hotels, motels, and resorts reporting full bookings through December 25.
The stretch from Laboni Beach to Kolatoli Point remains crowded with joyous tourists, while Himchari and Inani beaches buzz with excitement from dawn to dusk.
Local tourism leaders assured that measures are in place to prevent overcharging and ensure a pleasant experience for visitors.
Meanwhile, Cox’s Bazar Tourist Police’s Additional Superintendent of Police Abul Kalam has reinforced multi-layered security to ensure the safety and comfort of all tourists.
