For the past 11 years, Babul has been selling the flag of Bangladesh—a journey that has transformed his life.

After trying various trades, he finally found his calling in selling the national flag in Cox’s Bazar, leaving behind the chaos of Dhaka for a more peaceful existence.

Babul has spent the last nine years passionately selling flags along the bustling streets of this coastal city.

This December alone, he sold flags worth nearly 20,000 taka. To him, each sale represents more than just business—it’s a tribute to his unwavering love for his country.

In Babul’s words, “I charge for the fabric, but no one can pay for the value of the flag.”

His heartfelt statement reflects a life dedicated to a cause larger than personal gain.

Selling the flag, he says, is the greatest achievement of his life—a mission with no regrets.

“Selling flags isn’t just about trading fabric; it’s about honouring the country,” Babul explains with pride.

Every flag he hands over feels like a token of love and respect for Bangladesh, rooted deeply in his soul.
