Farmers in various areas along Cox’s Bazar’s Marine Drive are immersing themselves in early Boro paddy cultivation despite the biting cold. A field visit reveals a flurry of activities—some are collecting seedlings from the nursery, while others are busy preparing the land.

For these hard-working farmers, there are no holidays. Unlike office workers, their tasks are continuous, shifting from one farming season to the next. After harvesting Aman paddy, the focus swiftly turns to the next crop.

Starting early in the morning, farmers work tirelessly until dusk, preparing fields and transplanting Boro seedlings. Some can be seen ploughing their lands with determination and hope.

With favourable weather conditions, farmers are optimistic about a bumper harvest this year, reflecting their unwavering dedication to agriculture amidst challenging conditions.
