As the holy month of Ramadan continues, the usual rush of tourists is noticeably absent in Cox’s Bazar. The world’s longest sea beach and tourist hotspots remain largely deserted. The same scene prevails at night, with few visitors in sight.
Reports suggest that most hotels, motels, and cottages in the tourist zone of Kolatoli have little to no bookings. Due to the lack of customers, many hotels and restaurants have temporarily shut down. However, many establishments have begun renovation and beautification efforts to prepare for the upcoming Eid festivities.
A visit to Kolatoli Point at night revealed a complete absence of tourists, with silence prevailing across the beachfront.
