The Cox’s Bazar Central Eidgah Ground is fully prepared to host two Eid-ul-Fitr congregations this year. The first prayer session will take place at 8:00 AM, led by Allama Mahmudul Haque, who has served as the Khatib of Cox’s Bazar Central Jame Mosque for 33 years.

The second session will commence at 9:00 AM, with Maulana Sulaiman Qasemi, the Imam of Cox’s Bazar Central Jame Mosque and Khatib of Eidgah Jame Mosque, leading the prayers.

Each congregation is expected to accommodate over 8,000 worshippers, with essential arrangements in place, including waterproof tents to protect against potential rain. Five entry gates will be available for attendees’ convenience.

Ensuring the highest level of security, high-resolution CCTV cameras will monitor the Eidgah Ground, and law enforcement personnel will remain on duty throughout the event.

Moreover, a medical team will be on standby to provide immediate assistance if any worshipper falls ill.

To enhance security, Archway gates will be set up at key locations, including the Stadium, Hospital Road, and the District Council area. The Cox’s Bazar District Police has implemented a two-tier security system to ensure a safe and peaceful Eid prayer experience.
