On Eid day, unique prayer congregations will be held at Cox’s Bazar’s central Eidgah ground and various mosques across the city. The district administration and religious organizations have completed extensive preparations to accommodate large prayer gatherings.
Tourist Spots Being Decorated and Prepared
Ahead of Eid, Cox’s Bazar’s Sugandha, Laboni, Kolatoli, and Inani beach points have been refurbished and decorated. Special entertainment activities have been arranged for visitors, including water biking, beach biking, horse riding, and parasailing. Tourism industry stakeholders anticipate a massive turnout of travelers this year.
Boom in the Tourism Industry
Hotels, motels, and resorts are offering special discounts to provide top-notch services to tourists during the Eid holidays. The President of the Cox’s Bazar Hotel-Motel and Guest House Owners’ Association stated, “We are making every effort to provide the best experience for tourists during the Eid holidays. Most rooms are already booked.”
Enhanced Security Measures
To ensure the safety of tourists during the Eid holidays, the tourist police, district administration, and law enforcement agencies have implemented special security measures. Police and RAB personnel will be stationed at key points along the beach. The district administration’s executive magistrate stated, “Our mobile teams will be working to ensure the security of tourists.”
Special Cultural Programs for Eid
A special cultural program will be held at the beach on Eid night, featuring live music by local artists. Additionally, hotels and restaurants will offer tourists a variety of traditional seafood dishes.
