In celebration of the Bangladesh Biodiversity Conservation Federation (BBCF) ‘s 10th anniversary, the newly formed Cox’s Bazar district committee held a courtesy meeting and discussion with Chief Conservator of Forests Amir Hossain Chowdhury.

The meeting occurred on Saturday evening (December 7) at the Forest Department’s guest house. The newly established BBCF Cox’s Bazar committee members exchanged views with the chief forest conservator, focusing on biodiversity conservation and environmental protection strategies.

During the discussion, Amir Hossain Chowdhury praised the BBCF’s field-level efforts, stating, “BBCF members have been tirelessly working alongside the Forest Department across the country to conserve forests and biodiversity. Their dedication to this noble cause is commendable.”

Molla Rezaul Karim, the Chief Advisor of BBCF and the Forest Conservator of the Chattogram region, moderated the event. In his address, he emphasized the importance of collaborative conservation efforts and encouraged continued active participation from the committee members.
