On winter mornings, a thick layer of fog descends over Cox’s Bazar sea beach, covering the vast shoreline and the blue waters beyond. Draped in white mist, the landscape turns dreamlike, as if nature itself has painted a tranquil scene.

Through the fog, the roar of the waves can be heard, though the sea appears only faintly. People who walk along the sandy beach say the atmosphere is very calming. Some remain busy capturing photographs, while others stand silently, absorbing the calm beauty of nature.

Absar, a tourist who came to see the sea in the morning, said the foggy dawn gives Cox’s Bazar an entirely different character. “The experience of standing by the sea in an environment devoid of noise and rush is indescribable,” he expressed.

Local business owners and tourism stakeholders believe that this misty winter charm adds an extra attraction for visitors. For many tourists, the fog-covered early morning has now become one of their most cherished moments at the beach.

Away from everyday hustle and bustle, the fog-shrouded Cox’s Bazar sea beach is emerging as a reliable haven of peace for nature lovers.
