The newly formed “Accounting Club” under the Department of Accounting at Cox’s Bazar Government College held its first convening committee meeting on Monday (30 June) at the department’s conference room.
The meeting was chaired by the club’s convener, Azizul Haque, and conducted by the member secretary, Abdur Rashid Manik.
With the consent of the attending members, a subcommittee was formed to lead the club’s membership enrollment drive. The subcommittee is led by Tasniha Noor, with members including Md. Adil (Session 2020-21), Md. Sakib (Session 2021-22), Md. Al Hafiz Afridi Imon (Session 2022-23), and Nibraj Ifaz (Session 2023-24).
Key discussions were held on the club’s plans, active participation of members, and upcoming programs. Later, on behalf of the club, floral greetings were presented to the college principal, Professor Mohammad Solaiman, and the Head of the Department of Accounting, Sheikh Didarul Alam.
Other club members were also present during the meeting.
