From passion for coffee to professional careers—Cox’s Bazar opened its first barista training center.
The Caffinity Professional Barista Training Center aims to transform the growing coffee culture among youth into career opportunities. Its first batch has already completed training and received certificates, while enrollment for the second batch is underway.
Organizers say the center offers world-class, hands-on training with modern coffee machines. Students are learning espresso, cappuccino, and latte-making skills and mastering globally popular brews such as drip coffee (V60), French press, frozen coffee, and decaf.
One participant shared, “I always loved making coffee, but here I realized how much technique and precision it requires.”
In addition to imparting practical skills, the center offers internationally recognized certificates, which can lead to employment opportunities in hotels, restaurants, and cafés both domestically and internationally. Organizers claim graduates could easily secure high-paying jobs overseas with this training.
Coffee today is more than just a beverage—it’s an art form. With this initiative, Caffinity Professional Barista Training Center has opened a new career pathway for the youth of Cox’s Bazar.
