Pineapple, known for its sweet aroma and juicy texture, remains a favorite among fruit lovers. Despite the abundance of seasonal fruits, its distinct fragrance and taste make it a sought-after choice for many.

Currently, the local markets of Cox’s Bazar are filled with the enticing scent of fresh pineapples. Reports suggest that these pineapples are arriving from the hilly regions of Rangamati. Typically, pineapple season begins in late May and lasts until September. However, this year, a substantial supply has already hit the markets in Cox’s Bazar by the end of February, with prices remaining quite affordable, according to vendors.

Large pineapples sell for Tk40 per piece, while medium—to smaller-sized ones are available for Tk20 each, making them an accessible treat for consumers.
